Hi @yany-code This community is managed by GitHub employees, but it is not a support forum. The only place to go for answers to account-specific questions like this one is opening a ticket on our Support page. For account related issues, GitHub Support requires that you contact them from the email address verified on that account. If you haven't already, please submit a request using this form: https://support.github.com/contact/cannot_sign_in When completing this step, you won't be required to sign in, but you will need to verify your email address. If you're currently signed into a different account, please sign out first before following the link. This is a public forum, and the community is unable to assist with nor escalate your ticket, but we can assure you it is in the right place. It will be answered in the order it was received based on our team's resources and the amount of tickets ahead of yours. As no other Community Discussions team members will be able to provide additional help with account related questions I am going to close this discussion. We appreciate your understanding and patience while Support works through your request! |

Body
Dear GitHub Support Team,
My GitHub account (username: Yanyuuki, primary email: xieyanyu44@gmail.com) has been suspended recently. I am writing to formally request the reinstatement of my account.
The suspension happened right after I logged in from the campus network of Hubei University. I believe this is a false positive triggered by the campus network's shared IP, which is used by many students and may have been marked as suspicious by GitHub's security system.
I confirm that I am the legitimate owner of this account. I only use it for my university coursework, personal learning, and algorithm practice. I have never violated GitHub's Terms of Service, and there are no malicious activities associated with my account. I also have the account recovery codes saved, which can be used to verify my identity if needed.
When I tried to submit an appeal via the official support page, I was blocked by SMS verification, as China (+86) is not available in the country code list. Direct emails to support@github.com have also been blocked by the system.
Could you please review my case manually and reinstate my account access? Please contact me via xieyanyu44@gmail.com if you need any additional verification information.
Thank you for your time and assistance.
